Diary of the Dead - George Romero returns wi usual gorefest zombie fare... quite good. Jacob the amish deaf mute OAP Amish guy is probably the best character in it
Alvin & The Chipmunks - quite funny-ish
The Ruins - no bad. has the opportunity to be absolutely gash but it is watchable.
Anyone seen Somers Town? gonna watch this tomorrow afternoon

Spirited Away...glorious anime ;D Death Race...actually enjoyable hokum ;D The Ruins...b-movie for a rainy afternon Somers Town...cracking film from Shane Meadows again ;D Cass...well done film that avoids glorifying the violence within the story Righteous Kill...Pacino and De Niro in a dull and uninspiring film The Hunting Party...another fairly dull one, set after the Bosnian conflict The X-Files; I Want To Believe...fine episode, perhaps not a films worth though Bombon El Perro...lovely film about a man rediscovering his pride after gaining a dog ;D Underworld-Rise of the Lycans...more entertaining hokum

Saw V - tries to piece together all the loose ends from the previous 4 flicks. Has more of a story but yer lost if ya haven't seen the other ones. OK, but nothing compares to the original flick

Sweeney Todd - The Depp version Self indulgent, overly stylized, foppish twaddle. Ray Winston made the role his in the definitive version, infinitely superior to this every conceivable way. Naked - Was genius 15 years ago, it's still genius now. A true classic and one of the most powerful films ever made.
