Ok, simple enuff. I thought i would add a review section so people can rave or rant about any gigs they've been to. Any gig, any style, doesn't matter. If you want to share your thoughts, p;lease do so. Or for those that want to reminisce about former glory days of a fave band, then jot that down too

The Almighty: Glasgow Garage, 21.1.08
Got there just as support act (they say it was Toby Jepson- ex Little Angels) was ending their set. To be fair, I wasn't impressed. Biker rally afternoon brawling band.
The stage was cleared for the Al-fucking-mighty. They hit the stage with all the power and flair that they were known for. Stumpy Monroe the drummer is fatter than ever, although the rest of the guys are looking well. Floyd London the bassist has had a hard time health wise, and its fair to say he's aged less well than the rest of the band, but he was obviously enjoying himself. Pete Freisen pulled more faces thatn Phil Cool, twiddling his solo's perfectly. And then there was Ricky "Fuck the weather. I can say that, I live in California now" warwick. Looking lean n mean, growling vocals cutting thru as strong as ever, he dominated the stage. As a unit, they have lost none of the raw talent that people love. Hits like Crank, jonestown mind, Do you Understand, Jesus loves you, Free n easy et al were played throughout the near 2 hour set. Warwick even managed to laugh at himself when he slid his full length during a song - and can it be? I think he's actually dropped some of his pseudo scot/american accent.....maybe....just...a wee bit.
In all, it was a superb gig, well worth it and i can say it won't be another 17 years til i get to see them again hopefully. They endedwith a stunning and blistering version of beastie Boys "Sabotage" which went down a storm. Great stuff
