As a Hibs supporter posted on Saturday..... "If the Hearts fans feel they want to defend their players then fine, all I'm saying is Mikoliunas came very close to unfairly harming Scotland's chances of qualification for Euro 2008 today and for as long as he plays in this country, he will have to live with the consequences that his actions today will bring in the coming weeks and months from the stands and the Scottish media." Velicka is a cheat as well pretending to be headbutted against Falkirk last season and getting Barr sent off - a decision which was reversed by the SPL a week later. I thought things had been quiet over at Crackpot Romanovs neck of the woods recently - this has fairly livened things up again. 'I will apologise to Hearts fans but not Scotland'' - Arse!! PS Hearts deserve better than these guys

I think the country should be roundly applauding Miko's actions. Also, its worth remembering O'Conners dive between two Lithuanian Defenders in the the penalty box in the third minute.

I think the country should be roundly applauding Miko's actions. Also, its worth remembering O'Conners dive between two Lithuanian Defenders in the the penalty box in the third minute. "UEFA have charged Lithuania forward Saulius Mikoliunas with misconduct after reviewing video evidence of the penalty he won against Scotland. The Hearts man dived inside the Scotland penalty area to earn Lithuania the penalty from which they equalised in last Saturday's Euro 2008 Group B qualifier. He could now face a ban from playing for his country if found guilty of deliberately conning referee Damir Skomina. Scotland went on to win the match 3-1 but Mikoliunas' actions were widely criticised after the final whistle, with ex Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon saying: "I would love to have a few words with him if I could find him." UEFA's disciplinary inspector decided the act of simulation warranted an official charge being levelled at the 23-year-old, who refused to apologise to the Scottish public after the game. UEFA's control and disciplinary committee will examine the case next Wednesday." heh heh!

The charge is based on Article 10, para. 1c of the UEFA disciplinary regulations (Misconduct of players): Players may be suspended for two competition matches, or for a specified period, for acting with the obvious intent to cause any match official to make an incorrect decision or supporting his error of judgement and thereby causing him to make an incorrect decision. Step up Garry O'Connor.

aye for the crime of not being a lithuanian wait a minute O'connor widnae be an ex Hibee wid he? heh heh..... and like an episode ofTaggart the mystery of why a Scotsman calls into question his own countryman becomes clear...... The Gorgie Defence Mechanism kicks in Lets be real about one thing, Miko is a cheat. Not just his regular diving but he is cheating Hearts out of a decent weekly wage as he is the perennial under achiever. If even once he got past his marker in the SPL he would fall down as he cannot cross a ball to save his life. Maybe Hearts fans would be better trying to hound him out of the club, then maybe his smug little face may not be so smug when he is back washing Vlad's submarine in Eastern Europe. Come on Hearts fans, chase these poor excuses for footballers back to where they came from so you can get behind some of your fellow countrymen again.

You see Diving every Saturday, its no big deal, its been part of the game in Scotland long before Miko arrived at Hearts.
Joe Jordan - Cheat Maradona - Cheat Chriatian Ronaldo - Cheat Garry O'Connor - Cheat
etc....etc....
Most Hearts fans don't have a problem with Miko.
Hearts's league title chances were ended by Maloney diving over Tykass on NYD to get a match-winning penalty a season and a half ago.
Win Some, Lose Some.
